Letters - Dispute Letter for a Business Reporting Inaccurate Information  E-mail

The Fair Credit Reporting Act allows for a consumer to dispute with both the Credit Reporting Agency as well as the Business who furnished the incorrect information on your credit file.  If you chose to dispute with the business, the following letter will explain your dispute and provide you with a means to present your case.  Please note that you need to provide sufficient evidence that your dispute is valid. Once the business verifies that the information is incorrect, they will be required to have it corrected at every credit reporting agency where it was reported.

At the point that the information is found to be incorrectly reported on my credit report, please either delete or change that information making my credit file correct.  I also request that you inform any other credit reporting agency that you have reported this incorrect information.
