How would you like to have known ahead of time the level of risk in the stock market BEFORE the Financial Crisis of 2008?
I encourage you to listen to live on 91.3 at 3:00 pm (kdkr.org), today on the show I interview Nicholas Shaxson. Nicholas is an international expert on finance, author, and journalist. He wrote a book called the Finance Curse - How Global Finance is Making US all Poorer. Martin Wolf of the Financial Times calls it one of the best books of the year. This book essentially puts the puzzle pieces of a risk that I always thought was there. However, there were a few missing pieces. This book has big implications. Some might be easy to understand while some are confusing. However, in the interview we will spell it out in layman's terms what you need to understand.
Having said that, I am going to incorporate some of this into my workshop on Saturday and explain it in easy to understand terms. This interview comes at a great time. This is important information to know and can influence some of your decisions on the journey towards retirement. If you haven't signed up yet, the registration is still open and there are about 10 spots open for this Saturday's 2nd Annual Retirement & Investment Workshop.
