More Stimulus Checks, is that the Answer?

This new release came out today.

"WASHINGTON, Jan 5 (Reuters) - The White House is in constant ongoing dialogue with U.S. lawmakers and others on COVID-19 stimulus funding, but the current economy appears strong, the White House spokeswoman said on Wednesday.

'We are in a very different place than we were a year ago or six months ago,' Jen Psaki told reporters at the White House, citing job creation, economic growth, low unemployment levels, and higher vaccination rates."

Ms. Psaki, I have a straightforward question for you. Why send out more stimulus checks if the economy is strong and in a very "different place" than we were a year ago? What about all of these trillions of dollars of new legislation that passed?

Yes, we are in a different place than we were a year ago - the difference is that we are unexpectantly not in a much better place, and that is the concern as the variant roars through the U.S.

Biden has a massive problem on his hands. Consider his answer to the variant. Why not let the states manage the situation. Don't worry; the politicians are in charge.
